The Protein Society Fellows Program

 

The Protein Society is honored to announce the launch of a new initiative, Protein Society Fellows, aimed to recognize current or past members of the Society who have demonstrated excellent science and service to the Society and the protein science community. Fellows will be honored at The Protein Society Annual Symposium.

The Society welcomes nominations of members for the distinction of TPS Fellow from diverse backgrounds and in all areas of the protein science. Deadline: May 1, 2025.

Eligibility and Guidelines

The Society welcomes nominations of members for the distinction of TPS Fellow from diverse backgrounds and in all areas of the protein science. The nomination is submitted by a nominator who must be a current or past Protein Society member. Self-nominations are not permitted. 

Fellows will be honored at The Protein Society Annual Symposium.

The nomination consists of:

A single letter, written by the nominator, maximum of 2 pages, that must emphasize two aspects of the candidate’s career, including:

  • A current or past TPS member who has demonstrated excellent scientific accomplishments in the general area of protein science and exceptional service to the Society and/or the general protein science community. 
  • The candidate’s leadership in activities in the general protein science community such as mentorship, outreach and advocacy for protein science
  • The candidate’s detailed curriculum vitae

Nominations are reviewed by The Protein Society Fellows Selection Committee.
