Visa Letter Information
Invitation Letter Requests
International attendees will need to obtain a visa to travel to the United States for this year’s conference. However, some attendees may be eligible for visa-free travel if they meet the necessary requirements. To determine which visa type you are eligible for, please use the Visa Wizard tool.
The Protein Society can issue a letter of invitation to support your visa application upon request. To receive a letter, you must meet one of the following criteria:
- Be a TPS member in good standing
- Be an author or presenter listed on a scientific submission for the meeting
- Be a registered attendee

Invitation Letter Requests from The Protein Society:
To assist international attendees, The Protein Society will also issue invitation letters. To request one, you must first register for the meeting and pay the registration fees in full. No letters will be issued without paid registration. Please include your registration receipt in your request. Letters will be emailed to you on Protein Society letterhead within 5 business days.
